It was quite shocking to read on Kelly Cass's Facebook page that Betty Davis left. Didn't see that coming. Has anyone heard anything else or why she left?

Here are the entries from the Facebook Page:

Kelly Cass From Betty Davis:
Thanks to all my fans and facebook friends for the support you have given me during my time here at TWC. I will be signing off today. Gone.. but hopefully not forgotten. I love you all!!!!!!!!! May the sun continue to shine in your life!:)

Kelly Cass I just copied and pasted Betty's post from her facebook page, as I'm sure many of you will be wondering what happened. (Yesterday was her last day on TWC) I totally enjoyed working with Betty, and will surely miss her! She plans to enjoy some time at home with her little one until her next big opportunity comes knocking (which I'm sure will happen!) In the meantime, I hope you will continue to watch Weekend View, as Maria LaRosa joins me!

:x :( Alas, another example of poor management at TWC. Another highly qualified and popular OCM replaced by a much cheaper lesser talent. Others that have labored long in TWC trenches will no doubt face the same fate as their contracts expire. Look for more reruns of the boring series of documenteries as the staff and payroll are trimmed. Think good thoughts for those that are left as TWC must be a most unpleasent place to work these days. Morale has to be at an all time low. Poor management decisions have ruined a fine organization and no one seems to care! Sad. :( :x

What do you expect..TWC is owned by NBC...they have poor management and decide to make TWC like another news channel. Very bad. TWC will suck as long as NBC owns them. I'm waiting for Keith Obermann to show up.

Not exactly new at TWC. My good friend knows Sharon Resultan's father who said she complained about a work schedule which was not very friendly to a mother with young ones even before the NBC buyout. However I assume that may have helped Sharon decide to be a stay at home mom for awhile.

Tough call when they were are a 24/7 live network. Apparently no one wants to work weekend afternoons or evenings which forced them to keep running the same documentaries over and over - LOL.

:? :x  Scheduling is always a problem for working Moms, but if they are treated right and respected it makes for happy employees who are willing to work harder to adapt their work schedule to their families. TWC has been in trouble eversince tthey started treating their OCM's poorly and trying to pinch pennies. Obviously NBC is poorly managed and a marginal player at best so therefore the mediocerity trickles down to all levels of the organization. Betty Davis will most probably survive and thrive without TWC, the question is how many Betty Davises can TWC let get away and still remain viable. My guess would be not many more.
