Hello, fellow mavens...I have returned, after a bit of a hiatus. Not anything to do with our wonderful site...just life. It usually happens while you're making other plans. Funny that.
However, just a quick question...when I used to post religiously, I would post a multitude of vids...along w/caps, of course, to preview the clip...and although I don't want to sound ungrateful for the contributions here of late, I'm seeing a LOT more caps, and a lot LESS clips.
I do realize there are always restrictions, be they budget, hardware, software, etc...and/or issues with tech, equipment, etc., that may impede the process of posting a quality clip as opposed to a cap, or the link of a clip from the original file the caps presumably originated from (I had issues MYSELF...see below)...but there is just something extra about a thick, curvy...or, petite, sexy, news babe or weather girl sauntering around the stage "real time", so to speak, as opposed to a still, static --- albeit hot -- image, plastered up on the monitor...or, in my case, an 80' TV. Don't mean to make it sound all about me, but I'm sure most of us probably concur with that statement.
I also do realize it is the "caps & clips" section....before I get all of the potential hate mail...but it just doesn't seem like we're even trying anymore. I saw more clips a few years ago when I was posting hot and heavy than I've seen recently, even with the passage of time providing easier (and free-er) tech to do less work. Maybe a few of the more accessible hosting entities have dried up some, or it may pose a more difficult challenge for whatever reason, but there definitely seems to be a change from just a few years ago.
For my part, I do plan on posting again regularly within the next week or so, so as not to be or appear hypocritical, or a Monday morning quarterback, etc...AND they will be clips...I plan to put my money where my mouth is...just been busy with work, and life, in general, as I stated...as I'm sure not all of you spend all of your time here.
I was just basically asking about the feelings in the community, even though the query may appear to have lacked tact or subtlety, which was NOT my intention. If I offended anyone, I apologize in advance. I just want us all to enjoy what we're all here for to the best of our ability. A few good faith submittals of weather babes from my local stations are attached.

I'll fix it, damnit. Give me a break...it been a few years.
