I was just introduced to this new addition to our fine group of Virginia newsbabes on Twitter by fellow newsbabe, and former WDBJ7 reporter Rachel DePompa. Sophia is a 2020 graduate from Mississippi State and she spent her senior year as a weekend meteorologist at WTVA in Tupelo, Miss.

I ran across her this week as well.

I spend way too much time looking around for news babes. Anyway, its fun when you discover someone special like Sophia. Time to celebrate.

Well, technically 2nd gig if you count that she was a weekend meteorologist at a station while still a senior.
