Just got HLN HD today on my Comcast! To bad that the bars are on the side. Would you call this true HD? Thanks for the post. |

The wide angles aren't nearly as clear as real HD would be but the close up shots are very good. 100x better than SD. Real HD is 16x9. |

Yeah, it's really more of an upscaled SD. I think Robin would panic once the Atlanta studio went true HD.  Nonetheless, the quality really brings out the sparkle in her eyes!

I believe CNN is working on a new HD set for Newsroom in Atlanta. Hopefully new technology from that set will also transfer over to the HLN set.  Thanks for a lot for the video clips, shad0w!
