Yet another one of my former local news ladies has made it to the national scene. Marissa Parra used to be a reporter for ABC13 WSET in Lynchburg, VA. Just goes to show some of the talented ladies we have around here. I remember when Monica Shuman first did national stories. Then when Cecily Tynan left WDBJ and made a few stops here and there on GMA. Mona Kosar-Abdi was a weekend anchor here before she started doing World News Now. And now Marissa. Enjoy.
