Excellent lessons on persistence and sticking to a plan, even if you don't have the proper experience. Back in the day, multimedia and journalism were the degrees mostly in demand. Now, it's all about content creation and who can offer the bigger salaries. Ego plays a huge part (at least with most legacy networks), no matter what other people say. Elizabeth's story shows that hard work and absorbing everything like a sponge shows whoever did the hiring was an absolute genius. And look what happened once she got the call to her second TV job. |
