I would love to see the senadoras from Republica deportiva in 1080i, but will it happen soon?

Telemundo made the switch in March 2009 and as far as non-novela shows go only 12 corazones is shown in HD (February 12). Al rojo vivo - in my opinion the network's flagship show - is still being upscaled. If that's any indication - and if Univision keeps playing catch-up - then I don't see RD getting the upgrade soon.

BUT... with Univision/Telefutura covering every game of the World Cup in HD, they just might decide to shoot RD en alta definición as the "copa" gets underway. That would certainly be a GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!
