Sonia wears her eyepatch because she lost her eye as a child, when living in her country, Colombia.
But it still means that she's really a beautiful gal even so: and she's a renowned fashion model in Miami area too!

There are some other things to know about Sonia.
She studied in Colombia University in Comunications field, than she came to USA, in Miami, where soon, being as beautiful as she actually is, she became a fashion model.
There are around videos showing her modelling in the Miami Fashion Show held two times a year. She works usually with the most important hispanic fashion designers (Zajar, Campos, Tcherassi...etc).
And now she's TV journalist for Telemundo with Maria C.
In other words, she's up to much.
