Don I appreciate your postings I do. Imagebam is full of these ads that take over your computer. My malware is picking it up but on several of these photos I pulled up this morning on the jan. 16 postings these ads behind the scenes took over my computer and you CANNOT go back from them. I have to get out and sign back in to the site. Some Image doesn't do that. Some image is what I'm going to start using when I post something. I'm not opening anymore postings that are posted with imagebam. Everytime a posting with them is opened the so-on-and-so-forth ads are popping up. Thank you for your postings I do appreciate it very much. You have great postings, but if I may go to some image and start using them. I've got allot of protection on my puter. virus protection, malware protection and C drive cleaner. Rangerman.

Rangerman, sorry to hear about your problems with Imagebam.

I am using Firefox with Adblock Plus (on a Mac), and that seems to be working great. No ads, or pop-up windows. Try that for Imagebam, and for a lot of other sites, filled with these annoying ads. It should work.

P.S. Just for the fun of it, I tried opening a few of Imagebam pictures with Safari and Chrome. And yes, I've got these ads you are referring to.

I'm not sure if anything can be done with Safari, however there should be some ad blockers available for Chrome.

i am on chrome and use pop blocker too and stop all bad stuff from ads. just like other guy with firefox. find good pop blocker and your golden.

As for AdBlock...I use it on FireFox too...and I still get at least one popup!!
