Guessing adding Britt's name is out of the question. I'm think Sage Steele should have joined them. Either you keep both Britt and Sage or get rid of both of them.

moves by ESPN. Fired a woman while she's pregnant and then fired another woman just as she was going to come back as she returned from maternity leave. Plus is there anyone going to replace Sara because Ellie will take over for Hannah on the 10 AM hour of Sportscenter?

Well, there's versatile Cassidy Hubbarth, Molly McGrath, and Dianna Russini who are possible replacements for Sara. You're right, it was a bad move by ESPN made bad decisions letting Sara and Jade go for no reason. I think it's time for ESPN to do the right thing to end the mass layoffs, reverse the decisions they made, and rehire Sara and Jade. Also, head over to change.org and sign my petition to bring them back. Support my petition and spread the word.

If anything, there will be more layoffs
Some of the folks let go, like Ed Werder, had multiple years left on their contracts
Some will just go when their contracts expire
That is what reportedly will happen with John Bucigrass

What are they supposed to do, say all pregnant or recently pregnant women are exempt from all firings?

totally agree, when this starts happening it typically keeps happening, every 6-12 months.

Sage Steele kept her job. Attacked protesters (via Social Media) and she keeps her job? Explain that. I'm surprise Nicole Briscoe and Lindsay kept their jobs. You're right, there's no good time. Most of the people who were fired have families and now they have to uproot their families for opportunities unless they want to work at the local Hartford TV station (which is a highly unlikely). I didn't like when I heard that NBC replace and later let go Deborah Norville even though she sucked on the Today show (I heard lack the personality for a morning show) and they replaced her Katie Couric. It happens outside of the TV world as well.

The Washington Post reported on Friday that popular Around The Horn panelist Jane McManus was also on the layoff list.

As for other names becoming public, we may never know.

Sara never mentioned her pregnancy on air due to several previous miscarriages understandably. That's why despite the layoff I am so happy for her to be finally rewarded with beautiful twins. I hope to see Sarah back in action soon.

Happy for Sara on her true story despite layoff rumors. She deserves to be rehired by ESPN, same for Jade McCarthy and maybe Jaymee Sire. Possible return to ESPN could be around June or later this year or January 2018.
