Yeah, there's no way they are going to keep the same set she has now for a prime time news show. The only opportunity to see Trish outside of a desk after this will be her appearances on Outnumbered.

Initial gut reaction says not good for Trish leg lovers but will have to see. Have to remember Kennedy is now on at 8 and no shortage of legs. Fingers crossed Trish remains the same. :cowboy

Interesting that David Asman's old show "Bulls and Bears" is getting the reboot. One recalls when he hosted the initial version alongside Liz Claman. Look at the past clips from 2007 to 2009 on YouTube.

I still remember his old Nightly Scoreboard show.

I think it's too soon to say, probably won't know for sure until the show airs and/or promos air.

Plus, check out the ratings each month. Totally different numbers when you compare during market hours and after hours.

Personally, it hasn't been the same since Rebecca Gomez (Diamond) and Cody Willard led the fun fest in the first years of the channel appropriately titled Happy Hour.

Some brief clarifications regarding the early years (October 15, 2007 through late May 2015):

FBN:AM did not start until 2016 after the retirement of Don Imus and his talk show.
In the early days, both Nicole Petallides and Jenna Lee had a great show in the early AM hours called Fox Business Morning.
Shortly before the markets opened, programs like Money for Breakfast also featured besides Jenna Lee, Elizabeth MacDonald, Tracy Byrnes, and former NBC Today anchor Alexis Glick. By 2009, Countdown to the Opening Bell aired for a short time before the simulcast of Don Imus' popular talk show. Shibani Joshi would be hired to join a rotating cast during the very popular afternoon gabfest, Happy Hour. Liz Claman would join David Asman on the after market show, Bulls & Bears. That would last from 2009 until it was revived on October 15, 2018.

By 2004, Money with Melissa Francis aired the hour before Liz Claman. Beginning in June 2015, Deirdre Bolton came over from Bloomberg to host a show immediately following After The Bell. Remember her popular "Elevator Pitch" segments that aired every Friday? Prospective job candidates had 30 seconds to pitch their creative job ideas to three "judges" and they critiqued his/her idea to see if their planned ideas would receive financial backing of some kind.

Around late 2016-early 2017, she suffered major health problems and only later resurfaced giving market updates from inside the FBN studios in New York. Similar thing also happened with Gerri Willis, but has mostly been seen in pinch hit duty at the NYSE.

At around the same time, popular reporter Lori Rothman has believed to have left the network as well--for reasons mostly unknown (she has not posted on her Twitter since autumn 2017).

Separately, Maria Bartiromo left her long standing home at rival CNBC to host an early morning show in 2016.

I feel that since the death of Roger Ailes, the people in charge have pretty much sent notice to the ladies to not show as much leg as in years past.
The only times we are fortunate enough to see anything really cool is anytime when Liz Claman takes her act on the road--namely during the annual Berkshire-Hathaway shareholder meeting from the first Friday to the first Monday each May in Omaha, Nebraska  .

Look back, buzzkiller and any relative newbies to this board at how many caps tdubya68801 and prior to that malone42 did for so many years before I took over capping the fun from Omaha in 2017.

Bottom line is, the glory days are mostly over--and that to me is very, very sad :( .

Besides, I have said this many times before in other threads--the only reason I watch Fox Business is to see what Liz Claman has to say. After the loss of Happy Hour back in 2010, that final 3 p.m. hour is the only thing worth watching.

Actually, Alies getting the boot was it for Fox News as we knew it. I think if the presidential election went to a different direction, Alies would probably still been alive and running to this day (Ok I'm spitballing but just saying) Trump TV and most of his Fox News talent would have joined him there. Or if he picked Kiran over Gretchen on Fox and Friends. Guessing Fox News is trying to clean up the Mad Men culture Alies started.

FYI,

After The Bell has been back to the previous set since around late July or early August, so Melissa Francis is no longer parked behind a desk (for now, anyway). My recordings resumed with the show on 8/9, so I'm guessing it happened around then.

Anyway, since I don't have time to make/post caps regularly I thought I'd mention it for the Melissa Francis fans. With the changes coming there may be only a few weeks left to cap Melissa with the current unobstructed view.

I don't have video or caps but Trish is behind a desk similar to the new FBN AM show.

What a waste.

Actually, this was the area where After The Bell with Liz Claman and David Asman happened from 2010 to 2015.
