I'd been wondering why there hadn't been any updates for a while and learned some bad news. Susan Koeppen had a heart attack while jogging and will have to undergo surgery to repair a heart valve problem.

Let's all pray she pulls through and her beautiful eyes return to television soon!

good news, she has returned to today, local news ran a story of the event... she will have the surgery in March, in the meantime her schedule will be light.
And it was a close call, if it wasn't for her friends, a couple of med students applying CPR, until the Fire Dept. arrived and used a portable AED she would have died.

Susan had a cardiac arrest
She is still here because when it happened she was jogging with two friends that were in the medical field and they were able to get two other people walking by that happened to be medical students at PITT.
Imagine if it happened while jogging with Lady Gaga and Justin Beiber and then having two other random "entertainers" show up to help.

Yeah, George Clooney may be cute to some but being on a TV show called "E.R." and working in an actual E.R. are two different things.

I just had the valve surgery 6 months ago...not so bad. She will pull through I am sure!! She seem like a trooper. It is a shame she is stuck behind a desk...she had some stunning gams as I recall!!
