indeed. now if you have any margaux st. ledger or lena mcilwain from the same timeframe, the circle will be complete. ~10-12 years ago was indeed the golden age of QVC.

I thought Marianne had a bad accident where she broke her leg. She was off for a long time. She tried to return but couldn't because of the injury limitations.

I just googled her and I'm right although it was a hip she broke.

It was Marianne's choice to leave QVC. She is currently a new anchor at WICS in Springfield, Illinois. Her is what she says her in bio about leaving QVC.
After years of working in news, Marianne took a break from the industry. She moved to Philadelphia and accepted a job as a National TV Shopping Host. "Even though it was a shocking departure from the news business, I really enjoyed that job" she says. "But after awhile I realized it wasn't what I wanted to. I missed news. I missed making a difference."

A lot of my favorite moments from watching QVC, was when they where presenting the Table-Mate. The majority of the time you always got a down-blouse, good look at their thighs and there was always hope of an upskirt :twisted:

Sorry wolfman; would that I could...
I've got a couple hundreds of hours of misc crap on my tapes with little or no way of knowing what or where things are. Like I said b/f, I must have been on heavy meds. But my favs were Lynne T, Lisa R, Marianne M and sometimes Jill B so that's all I will find as far as QVC.
