Wide World of Women

Has anyone else tried or experienced problems with trying to access the forum through your mobile phone? For the past 10 days or so, I haven't been able to access any wideworldofwomen.net pages on my Verizon phone, and I've tried a few different browsers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't, and I only access the site on my phone. I'm on T-Mobile.

I can't access either on my Verizon phone. Yet oddly enough I can access it on my phone via wifi.

I try to sometimes but i have trouble logging in, the screen is too small.

Yup that is the problem I'm having as well. It must be the Verizon network restricting it, for some reason.

Must be what it is. Aggravating too cause now I can't ever check the site out when I'm on the road.

I actually ended up devoting way more time researching the issue than I'd intended. The problem might be that this site is not "ipv6" compatible, and it sounds like Verizon Wireless has a problem accessing some of those non-compatible sites.

I found out I can view the forum through a proxy viewer. I used an app called "Proxy Browser" and it worked. It's a little more inconvenient since it doesn't keep a history and I don't think I can bookmark, but at least I can view the forum now.

That ipv6 thing must be something new cause I used to be able to browse the site here no problem on Verizon. Anyway thanks for the info on the app I may give it a shot!

For this whole past week all of a sudden this site is working again on Verizon!
