Dropping the show with Rebecca Diamond (Gomez) was a bad move by FBN.

Believe this----if FBN axes Liz, I axe FBN!! :Tantrum :Furious
Personally I don't think it will happen, but Liz may find some of her time reduced!

I'd always thought about what Bartiromo would look like "Foxified." She's pretty hot already.

Other reporters left CNBC for FBN besides Liz:

Her periodic "sparring partner" if you will, Charlie Gasparino in February 2010
Dennis Kneale, all things entertainment and such, December 2010
Melissa Francis left after nine years to have her 5 p.m. show Money with Melissa Francis in June 2012

Let us see what the schedule is come Monday, November 25 since Maria's CNBC contract expires on Sunday.

Sure hope Liz stays on. I would sure hate for her to leave with all of the momentum heading in FBN's direction during most of 2013.

Maria's contract with CNBC may be over with on Sunday, but I don't know that she's just going to pop up on FBN the very next day.
A lot of the time when someone jumps to another network, there's a period when we don't see them to give
the new place a chance to organize a new show around them, and for the person to get familiar with the new digs.
Cases in point:
Erin Burnett's time off air before her CNN show began.
Jake Tapper's break between ABC and CNN.

Maria could wait until the New Year, possibly....we'll have to wait and see.

As for Liz -- while we're all sitting here talking about FBN giving her the boot, let's consider that she might
be the one to bolt from them. They're bringing over Maria, maybe taking some of her airtime away, etc. All while
hoping to hang onto her. But Liz may not feel comfortable anymore sharing "top dog" status with Maria, who
already eclipsed her before back at CNBC. If Liz goes, it could easily be because she doesn't WANT to stay.

Nothing has been proven. Maybe Todd was putting the moves on her and she said no. We don't know and until we do, I would think that slams on Maria's character aren't called for.

I guess this news can be filed in the case of CNBC really losing touch with their audience...

Or it would be just a simple business decision on the part of Maria and/or CNBC. Maybe Maria wasn't looking to leave, maybe she got a better offer from FBN, maybe CNBC told her they weren't going to renew her contract. Yes, she's probably their most well known property, but her departure being equal to "losing touch with their audience" seems to me to be a stretch.

Also Martha MacCallum.....although she left business news and went to Fox News.

But it all started with Roger Ailes and Neil Cavuto. Ailes ran CNBC and America's Talking and Cavuto followed him to FNC. Steve Doocy did the AT morning show, and with a brief stop at CBS (failing at being the next Art Linkletter) went to FNC. And then people from the AT successor network MSNBC came to Fox, of which PAB and Gregg Jarrett are still with the network. And if Liz bolts, where's she going to go? I don't think she will be going back to "Brand X" (what Gasparino calls CNBC) or Bloomberg.

Liz will probably just suck it up and stay.

Where would she go? Back to CNBC? or drop down a notch and head to Bloomberg?

She tweeted this a few weeks ago

" Gang, 6 yrs ago today I made the best professional decision of my life: To come to @FoxBusiness and yes, I'll celebrate with chocolate. "

FNC does not need anymore changes to the weekend schedule.
They already moved Jamie's second hour to 1pm when Media Buzz took away the 11am hour taking an hour away from Shannon.
Plus they now only do a half hour of America's News HQ at 3:30pm.

FBN re upped with Imus in December 2012.

What could happen is they give her the 9am hour or she co-hosts with Varney.

That move would make the most sense, figuring their audience in the morning is not the same as it is from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Just a guess on my part.
