I just saw this on Facebook. This will definitely promote Ginger Zee to the weekday gig. But who will take Ginger's place on the weekends? I'd promote Stephanie Roberts, from ABC7 in Sarasota to take the role. She used to sub back in the Marysol Castro era on GMA: Weekend.

That would be oh so very obvious in my mind. Just working down the street in Amy's case on WABC each early weekend morning, that would make great sense :mrgreen:

Starting on Thursday, I certainly hope that the cappers make up for the (slight) lack of caps during the weekends, so we can (hopefully, barring any major future storms) cap Ginger five mornings a week. :Tounge

Not for anything but i had years of Amy Freeze here in Philly and she just didn't do anything for me.
There are a handful of much hotter weathergirls here in Philly now that i'd suggest but doubt they have the experience to be considered for the job.

But by the time Amy left Philly and came to Chicago, impressions of her totally changed--at least in my mind.

Come to think of it, she is like down the street from the GMA studios. It would be very close to a great fit.

JC doesn't do weather anymore in Boston. She's cohosting Chronicle, a locally produced news magazine show. When she first made the switch once in a blue moon she would fill in for another weather person but I don't think she does that anymore except maybe in the early morning local news before GMA comes on. At least we have Cindy Fitzgibbon and Danielle Vollmar in front of the maps now. :Thumb

I would hate to lose Cecily here but if not her then give it to Melissa Magee or Sheena Parveen.

Thanks for the info. Moved out of Boston like 8 years ago and she was not only easy on the eyes but also did a good weather report kinda like Ginger. Currently like watching Erica Kato in SF but don't think she is far enough in her career for GMA.
