I can be sure of one thing--the FBN promo machines are going to be very hard at work once the holiday season is over.

Hopefully, someone will continue to keep us updated especially once we know her FBN/Fox News schedule come the first part of 2014 (sure hope Liz Claman will continue on her role during the 3 and 4 p.m. hours).

Does anyone here remember when Liz and Maria were on the same network, and Liz was on at 9AM and Maria was on at 3PM? When Liz left, Erin did double duty and took 9AM.

The hope is she'd bounce Varney but more likely Dagen McDowell

I wonder if Maria will get the Greta clause in her contract. The one which says that even though she has nice legs and could pull off wearing skirts all the time like everyone else, she doesn't have to wear them.

I predict that Imus will stay at 6 to 9 (5-8 CT), Maria 9AM-10 or 11 (8AM-9AM OR 10 CT) then Varney 11 to 1PM (10AM-Noon CT) I would also not be surprised if FBN gets back into the early morning game. (pre Imus)

Seriously, the only winner here is Maria's bank account. FOX doesn't need her. Might be an Ailes ego thing.

Varney just re-signed so I don't think his show is going anywhere

The deal between Fox and Maria Bartiromo is now official. The veteran financial journalist has signed a multi-year deal with Fox that will make her Global Markets Editor, anchoring a daily program on Fox Business Network, as well as a Sunday business focused show on Fox News Channel. Bartiromo joins Fox next Saturday, Feb. 1. Her new shows will launch before the end of March.

In the move, Bartiromo re-joins Fox News co-founder and chairman Roger Ailes. Says Ailes, “I tapped Maria to report live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange while at CNBC, and I am delighted to have her join me once again alongside our star line-up at Fox Business.”

Bartiromo spent 20 years at CNBC, departing in November.

From reading all the info I see a big shake up between 9 AM and 12 PM and possibly until the 3 PM time slots. Looks like Dagen and Connell are going to be on the outside looking in. They will have their slots on "IMUS" at least for now.
