How many weather channels are needed?l
At least one that will actually show weather and forecasts instead of Jim Cantore in another weather reality show.

Weather forecasting is a tough science. Weather systems sometimes change course quickly and unexpectedly. I don't envy the job of a meteorologist, although it does sound fascinating, when the public unfairly unleashes its wrath onto them.

Part of the problem is that we the public are at fault for crappy forecasts. First we demanded 5 day forecasts, then 7, then 10 when the meteorologists know the accuracy is awful that far out. I remember one Boston area private weather company that gave away for free its forecasts beyond 3 or 4 days because they knew the accuracy wasn't that great. They were very upfront about it too.
