You see my Avatar? I'm sure you know it's Charisma Carpentar, and she's walking by in her bikini.
On this computer at work, I can see it animated.
When I get home, my gif's aren't animated.
Any ideas why? What am I missing?

I can replicate the problem by unchecking "Play animations in Web pages" in Internet Explorer. Tools>Internet Options>Advanced>Multimedia>Play animations in web pages. Close and reopen all browser windows.
If it's a different browser, it would be a different solution.
