I saw on new day Kate is pregnant!!

Yeah, I noticed this week she had a bit of a paunch to her midsection.

Congrats to Kate.

Now my speculation as to who will take her place when she goes on maternity leave shall begin.

Alisyn Camerota?!?! I know her hiring wasn't confirmed yet but it makes a lot of sense. If not it'll just be Christine Romans

Christine Romans would be an excellent choice.

I predict you never see her again after maternity leave.

New Day is crushing Morning Joe in the latest ratings and has been doing so consistently:

Morning Joe is a decent watch if you want to see people go in depth about politics. But, and a huge but, they seem to like playing stupid about things that aren't politics or sports. That show is so arrogant that on a couple of mornings they opened the show by talking about basketball for 4 or 5 minutes. Granted that's not a huge amount of time; its just cocky to lead with sports when many other stories are out there.

Finally, to get off the soap box... I hope New Day continues to crush arrogant Morning Joe. Its good that they get knocked down a peg so they start doing there job again instead of killing lots of time with stupid jokes. (again, banter has its place... just seems like Morning Joe has become the destination for lazy reporting and playing stupid.)
