Quick note for anyone who may be wondering --
The upcoming Daytime Emmy Awards (held every June, and taking place this Sunday)
will not be on HLN this year.... or any other standard broadcast network for that matter.
The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences could not strike a deal with any outlet this year for the show.
So for the first time, it's slated to be an online-only event.

A show honoring television shows.... is no longer on television.
And as you see in the article, Kathy Griffin gets the hosting duties.
I'm pretty sure that with the changes, there's not much reason for Robin or any other CNN/HLN talent to be there,
unless something has a nomination. Makes you wonder just how dismal the ratings have been the last couple
of years that HLN had the show.... even Robin spilling out of a sequined gown couldn't save it.
