press release:

Michelle Beisner Joins ESPN as NFL Features Reporter

Michelle Beisner is joining ESPN as an NFL features reporter. Beginning in September, she will contribute player profiles and other stories for ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown pregame show.

Since 2006, Beisner has worked as a studio host and field reporter for NFL Network. She has appeared on a variety of programs and specials including Super Bowl Week, Pro Bowl, and NFL Draft coverage.
Her many years of field reporting have landed her interviews with players and coaches such as Russell Wilson, Richard Sherman, Pete Carroll, Peyton Manning, Ray Lewis, John Elway, Robert Griffin III, and Adrian Peterson. In 2013, Beisner's features included the 49ers offensive line, 49ers linebackers Patrick Willis and NaVorro Bowman, and the exclusive sit-down interview with Denver Broncos head coach John Fox upon his return from successful aortic valve replacement surgery.

Beisner previously appeared on ESPN as the co-host of "The Russo and Steele Automotive Auctions" and as a pit reporter for the Champ Car World Series. She has also worked in various reporting capacities and hosting roles for Fox Sports, CBS, NBC, Speed Channel, and other networks.

"Michelle has shown a knack for getting big interviews and doing memorable storytelling," said Seth Markman, senior coordinating producer for ESPN's NFL studio shows. "She will be a great addition to Sunday NFL Countdown and we look forward to the features she will contribute to the show."

Beisner added: "I am grateful and humbled to be joining the ESPN family. I look forward to this new adventure, and the respected platform it provides for storytelling. I'm ready to go to work, have some fun, and get it done. I couldn't be more excited about the opportunity of being a part of the talented cast and crew of Sunday NFL Countdown."

Before working in television, Beisner trained as an actor and dancer. She was a member of The Denver Broncos Cheerleaders from 1997 - 2003. Four of her six years with The Broncos Cheerleaders, Beisner was a captain, and in 1999, she was the Pro Bowl representative.

Recently married to Fox Sports lead play by play announcer Joe Buck, Beisner will continue to live in the St. Louis area.

Congrats to her and a big F you to the NFL network. She should have been in consideration for the NFL AM host. Is Jaime still there?

Agree. The new gal they hired isn't anything special.

The NFL network does a good job of screwing over talent they already have.
