"So pumped! Headed to Atlanta to anchor CNN Intl @CNNInternatDesk 12PM show. Lots going on. Hope u watch!!
Xo "

Don't know if it's a permanent thing or just 1 show but either way I'm sure Nick's excited to see her back on tv more often :jetserl

"@CommentaryCNN @TeamCNNI anchoring 12AM!!! Or even better. Let's go with midnight!!!"

She mistakenly said 12PM, but she's doing the midnight show (Im guessing tonight)

Yeah, she tweeted that well after 12pm, so I assumed she got am/pm mixed up.

If the time really is 12AM (I assume ET), it'll most likely be simulcast on CNN domestic tonight. CNNI has been simulcasted on CNN domestic after midnight (or 1AM) for the last few weeks for Gaza coverage.

I've been comparing CNNI online to CNN for the last few hours. The Situation Room was simulcast as you mentioned but they have diverged now. I so hope you are right that they converge again later this evening.

I posted some caps just because it's been a while since we've seen Kiran in newscaster mode.

A CNNI spox has told me that Kiran is freelancing (and hasn’t rejoined the network). :(

I have to at least wonder if they won't offer her the chance to fill in for Michaela Pereira should she want a day off during Kate Balduan's maternity leave. Aly and Kiran together in the morning HAS to be something they've thought about happening, just to see what the ratings would be like.

It doesn't make sense. If it was a try out for a new job, why not extent it a few days? Plus CNN seems to be moving out of Atlanta and into New York. Why bring her to Atlanta?

The mystery of Kiran not working has elevated to a level similar to "where is Jimmy Hoffa buried?" :jetserl
Why can't Kiran's special opportunity be her chance to raise her young children, to be there for them without the burden of work and babysitters. From what I know of Kiran that would be a special opportunity to her indeed. How she manages financially is not for us to know. She's freelancing for now. Maybe that's a stepping stone to her easing back to a regular gig. I'm just glad I got to see her recently. It had been way too long for her fans.

I know I'd certainly prefer to raise a family in Atlanta than New York, but that's just me.

I agree that how she manages financially is not for us to know, but I think also how she raises her young children is not for us to know either. I make my choices in my life and she makes her choices in her life. Live and let live.

The guy who complained about Kiran missed one important point
She did the CNN morning show with John Roberts, with whom she had no chemistry and who had no business being the host of a morning show
Roberts also complained about Kiran and let it be known he didn't like working with her
Not an easy situation to deal with
Roberts is much better as a reporter at Fox
Kiran fell victim at CNN because it took her personality away
CNN tends to homogenize everyone
Brooke is the only one who has been able to break through and be herself
It'll be interesting to see if Aly can do the same
As for Kiran, I hope she's happy whatever she does :Kool
