Discovery network's long-running hit "Mythbusters" will be missing 3 familiar faces
when it returns next year... Kari Byron, Grant Imahara, and Tory Bellici are departing the show
after a decade. Only original cast members Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman will be
back for the next season.

No details yet on the cause, but speculation centers on contract disputes where raises could not be agreed on,
to simple budget cutting made by Discovery.

Judging by the way the "farewell" was handled -- all without direct participation from the team, I'm leaning
toward a breakdown in negotiations:

It seems like a waste of time and money to make a totally new show when you can just keep them all on the same show.
If you'll still want to work with them, why not just work with them on a show already there...?
