Need help learning to cap!

I have looked into buying a TV tuner but right before i bought it some things in the description confused me. I need a good, cheap,($50 or less) easy capping device. I have a digital DVR cable box that i get HDTV on. I also have a Dell Dimension 3000 with a pentium 4 processer. It has 3 open video card ports and a USB port. One more question: will i need some extra software to cap.

Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks!

I have a WinTV but use DScaler with it, the caps come out better with DScaler and DScaler is free to download(but you still need to buy a capper)

Dscaler does not support all Cappers(example ATI All-in-wonder)

The Capper/TV Tuner should come with the Software

Thats nice and all but that still dosn't solve my biggest problem. I need a cheap but good capping device that won't look like crap. If anyone has a good cheap capping device please tell me what it is. thanks

The TV tuner should come with all the software to be able to cap you shouldnt need any additional

your gonna have a hard time finding one for $50 i think theres only 2-3 at that price
