Hello everyone,

I know a lot of you have been asking where I've been for the past few weeks ... the truth is, there have been some big changes recently around the office. With all of these changes, I decided to explore a new opportunity and start the next chapter of my career outside of the television spotlight. I am both sad and excited to announce my departure from Media Logic Group (and television weather altogether) on November 24th. My last day on the air will be Sunday (11/23) for cn|2 in Kentucky and other local clients. I will not be on WeatherNation TV, so I apologize to anyone who used to watch me on that network.

I just wanted to thank you all for all of your support during my time on the air. You will never know how much I truly appreciated all of your words of encouragement as a beginner in the television industry. I'll still be available to answer any weather-related questions you might have and I will still occasionally post here about weather events, but just not as frequently as before.

So what's the next chapter? I will be working as an Air Quality Scientist for an environmental consulting & engineering firm. My new role will allow me to focus more on the science of weather and less on broadcasting. I'm really looking forward to this new challenge!

Now that Miranda has left, there are only 2 female meteorologists from the old Minneapolis/Media Logic studio still on the network. Gretchen Mischek and Katie Ferrier. It is a shame, because I really enjoyed watching the beautiful miss Miranda.

Recently, I friended Gretchen on Facebook, and I asked her why we haven't see Kristin Clark, Susie Martin and others on the channel. Her response was that the company that Media Logic no longer provides content for the channel. One of the weathermen Addison Green left the Minnesota studios and Media Logic, but remains with channel at its studios in Denver, Colorado every Friday-Sunday. Apparently, with the new hires that were made this year, Media Logic found themselves a problem with retention.

It is strange how the "Meet The Team" page on WeatherNation's website has never been updated. They still have bios for Kristin, Susie, and Miranda. I haven't really watched the network all that much since the addition of the Denver studio. The ladies from Denver just aren't in the same class with the original Minneapolis crew. Merry Mathews is cute, but she does have a bit of a helmet head of hair. Stacey Donaldson is alright, but for some reason she always wears black suits. Almost reminds me of a grim reaper or a dragon lady. LOL If only she had other wardrobe. Karissa Klos kinda irks me the most because she was the one who took over Kristin Clark's time slot on the night shift. She's also on at all hours of the day. And wasn't she originally blonde? That red just doesn't look right on her. Stephanie Ortmann is probably my favorite of the Denver bunch. A long, tall blonde of German descent. She might not have the best face of the bunch, but I do think she's got the best overall body.
