Some people just don't like following the rules like you and i :Thumb

Couple of things --

First, you're assuming I knew what the rule was to begin with -- I did not; this is actually the first time
I've seen it. When you're posting a sig, that is not mentioned on the edit page.
My sig consists of 3 separate images --you can click on each one to see-- all re 300 tall, and average 250 wide.
Obviously, being wider than it is tall, it's horizontal, so that part's fine.
But all 3 images side by side do come up to 787, which makes the whole thing wider than 500.

You'll notice that the banner/sig rules were posted by Yoda in 2005 --nearly 10 yrs ago, and no doubt
there've been sigs as large or larger than mine before.
Mine has been sitting there for close to a year now --literally haven't changed it for that long, and I'v gotten
no warning about it once. If I had, I would've been happy to adjust it, and still would if asked to.

Also, if it had been that big of an issue, I would not have expected to have been give moderator status
earlier this year, which was since that sig went up.
