Anna can more than handle a serious discussion. Them bringing in Kimberly was silly. She is way more unbiased and serious than KG

A lot of people take her playful personality as not being serious. Her big smile,the dancing etc. They see that as a flaw, where I see it as her just being herself. But she always does her job,and she does it damn good. Or else she wouldn't have been the one filling in so much these past few months. They would have gotten Kimberly or Sandra to fill in more, especially during all of this election coverage. If Anna is good enough for the weekend, shes good enough for weekdays too.

Anna is still very new, she just came from Charlotte a couple of years ago. She has quite the role considering her short time with FNC.

good point in that article about FNC not wanting to disrupt the other successful shows, that makes the most sense as to why they went with this pick.
sorry, I don't buy the "FNC wanted to reward her for working overnights" angle... FNC has screwed over many a deserving employee in the past, as have all the other networks.
they do what's in their best interest, not the employee's.
(and if the ratings were to suddenly plummet, they'll dump Ainsley in a second)

As far as I'm concerned, they got it right. Ainsley was easily my top pick.

I havent been watching much lately and I was afraid I was going to have to find another morning news show if a particular fill-in had gotten the job.

She is very good and she deserved to get the spot but don't kid yourself. Companies demand loyalty from their employees but don't give it back and FNC is as bad as the rest of them. Neither Alysin's nor Kiran's hard work was rewarded as someone said earlier in this thread. Later they brought in Hasselbeck from the outside passing over others that "deserved" that spot. What were her qualifications? Pretty, conservative and well known and got along with the Two Stooges. I write "deserved" in quotes precisely because in the mind of a corporation no one deserves anything except a paycheck for doing their job. Good for Ainsley, not so good for Anna. I hope Anna doesn't bolt from FNC. We'd never see as much of those awesome thighs on any other channel. Sorry for being a grumpy old man tonight. :jetserl
