It's that time again--the annual Berkshire Hathaway Shareholder Meeting in Omaha, Nebraska.

Although the actual meeting this Saturday will be streamed for the first time live via Yahoo!, Liz Claman will be covering her 11th (hard to believe it has been that long) such meeting starting on Friday.

Of course, we as fans always look forward to her time wrapping up with her annual interview next Monday with Warren Buffett, his long time right hand man Charlie Munger, and the world famous Bill Gates of Microsoft fame.

Omaha Magazine has profiled Liz both this year and last year.

Below are links from Monday as she talks about her favorite places to eat while in Omaha, along with a cool article from 2015 talking about how she initially ended up being rejected before landing that first interview with the self-proclaimed "Oracle of Omaha":

The second article said that Liz only knew about Nebraska from reading Willa Cather books. If she likes Cather then her hometown of Red Cloud (south of Grand Island and Hastings one mile from the Kansas border) would be worth a visit. I went there for an 8th grade (we read O Pioneers!-fall of 1975) field trip. We went to the museum and her home and even toured the area around Red Cloud that she based her books on.

That should qualify as something in the, 'You learn something new every day' department.
