upgraded my computer from windows ME to windows XP. The Dscaler worked perfectly on ME, with no problems. It instantly quit working on XP.
It gave me an Overlay Error. Anyone know why? what I can Do to fix it?

Could someone explain me how Overlay works?

If you need more information I can give it to you, just tell me clearly everything you want to know. I'm pretty much confused.

I think you shouldn't have turned off your hard drive

On the computer I had before I upgraded to XP to find some programs weren't working. Try uninstalling dscaler then download it again and reinstall it. That worked for many other programs I had problems with, but I never tried it with dscaler....worth a shot.

I got everything working now. It took a while. I had to have the computer bootup the download again and it worked again. Also the Dscaler needed to be installed after I installed The video card. Now everything is working. I even got video clips to work.
