Wide World of Women

I don't know if she's done this before, but Ashleigh Banfield went without her
signature glasses on Friday 8/12. It caught my attention just because of how different
she looks without them. We're used to seeing them on her going back to her MSNBC days.
Has she gone to contacts? Don't know, but I didn't recognize her at first.
What do you think -- better with or without them?

Besides the novelty of how she looked, though, I'm seeing that this marks Ashleigh's
first WWoW appearance after a 2-year absence....about time to lift the "ban" on Banfield, isn't it?

Also looks like her hair is longer. She looks different but still good looking.

When CNN feels her from the Desk Monster, perhaps we can lift the ban?

She has some great features though I prefer her hair shorter...hair is a little overpowering

Two of my favorite cnn women, although I kinda' miss the glasses on Ashleigh, but yes, the desk monster has to go, we can't keep those beautiful legs under cover. Great caps, but is there any way of getting the pics bigger ?

The problem is with the method I use -- I'm going off the live online feed,
and the speed tends to waver depending on the location I'm doing it from (not always home)
When it's best, it's ultra-sharp HD, but when it goes downhill, the quality suffers.
And sizing those caps 1080 ratio makes them look too blurred and degraded,
so it's better actually downsizing them like I did here. Look through my Ana Cabrera thread
and you'll find most turn out well, but other times I've had to downsize.

It's sort of like the difference you see on a YouTube video in 1080p or 720p vs. 480p.

I have to say I like her with the longer hair. Nice to see her change it up.

Have to say I love the change. A big kiss for our Ash. Yes she needs some out front time with that amazing body she has but for a woman who is going on 49 she now looks as sexy as can be. Hope to see more of her.

She never did it for me. Now, without the glasses though, I might have to rethink that. Much better.

This is not unlike cataract lens surgery. Same procedure. Inner ocular lens replaces the foggy one. Amazing procedure. Had it done to both eyes. Don't look as good as Ashleigh though. It isn't uncommon for even teenagers to have cataracts as I was told. Anyway good for her and her looks.

I really dig her new look. She looks very good for her age.
