Sad to see her go.

A name I bring up only because I saw her today for the first time in FOREVER is Patti!!!!!!

PS Doesn't News Corp have big holdings down under? Easy to slide Anna in there. If so depending on the streaming we might still have some chances of seeing her.

I hope it's a big paycheck..... as Australia sucks for so many reasons.... odd how easily one gives up all that one works for..... Of course getting away from clayton is a bonus...

Huntsman would be the worst replacement.... don't know what people see in her......

I would have thought Anna would be the last one to make a move like this
She seemed totally devoted to her career
Gotta give her props for doing it for the man she loves
Plus she is an adventurous soul
The more I think about it, I'm not so sure she will continue to pursue a TV career
In 10 years, there could be a chain of Anna's Fitness centers across Australia ;)
As for Abby, she's one of the few who wouldn't see the job as a demotion

The comment she made on the air about giving up an amazing job tells me she's conflicted about the decision, and shows how selfless she really is. Unfortunately, I don't think giving up everything for a spouse ends well a lot of times, as they start to resent that person if things aren't working out for whatever reason. I really hope that doesn't happen.

Yeah, I didn't watch the goodbye clip yet but I hope you're wrong because I agree with what you said. IF she gave up everything for him and it doesn't work out for her she may resent the hell outta him eventually. I hope thats NOT the case.

She may resent leaving the U.S. if things don't work out,
but I don't think in hindsight she'll be feeling too bad about what network
she left.
I think a major factor in this recent spate of Fox women jumping ship is not only
to take on other job offers and opportunities, but also to put some distance between them
and the network... they probably realize that in the long term, they'll be seen as
hypocritical and/or blind for hanging around there too long. I'm betting a lot
of their agents are telling them cutting ties sooner rather than later will be better for their careers.

That's reading a lot into her decision
If Anna doesn't marry a man from Australia, does she move there?
I don't think so
Maria Molina said she's leaving to pursue her PhD because the professor who is her mentor took a job at Central Michigan
People have all kind of personal reasons for making career choices
I don't think you can paint them with a broad brush just because of the Ailes thing
In the cases of Anna and Maria, it sound like they would have left anyway

Yeah, her husband's job had to have been something they talked about extensively, given how it's affecting her career. This is something she likely was planning to do for months.

Probably right --
All I meant was that this whole thing might have just helped ease their decisions,
and provided some extra "fuel for takeoff", so to speak.

And again, I can't imagine too many of the agents or reps are crying
"...but it's Fox News! You can't be serious about leaving!"
like they would have say, a year or two ago.

Do we have any cappers down under? She mentioned on the show she'd like to continue her TV career over there.

Doesn't Rupert Murdoch own a news station in Australia?

Ditto.

Fox has lost some big talent over the past year or two. They have a deep bench but Anna and her personality was a great fit for the weekend edition of F&F.

She will be very difficult to replace
My first thought is Abby
I just don't think Fox would want to put Sandra on a weekend show

Any other names in the hat to take Anna's place?

I vote Juliet Huddy.

Just found out that Juliet's last day is today via her Twitter
