Broadcast reports on January 24 showed that Erin Andrews had cervical cancer last October. Thankfully, she came out of it fine after a few weeks of diagnosis in Los Angeles.

She did not tell anyone on her primary Fox Sports crew from Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Chris Myers, or even Charissa Thompson back in Los Angeles during their early pregame show.

Sure hope she gets her voice heard in the halls of Congress once Super Bowl LI is in the rear view mirror.

So courageous and Erin is definitely a true fighter in every sense of the word. We may not know it too much--even when she gets all glammed up as Tom Bergeron's trusty sidekick on Dancing With The Stars, but it shows in every interview she does since the verdict came down. She needs to send a message and hopefully, our elected officials will understand sooner rather than way later.
