A few more weeks before Charissa's triumphant return to hosting Fox NFL Kickoff, but sadly this turned out to be one of her final appearances on the syndicated entertainment show.

She has left "Extra" and her contract with FOX expires at the end of the upcoming NFL season.

As I said on another thread, Mike Greenberg is looking for a partner for his morning show. Once the regular season ends (fittingly for Charissa early on New Year's Eve morning), it could be goodbye to sunny and warm L.A. and hello to snowy and chilly New York City so she could dish on the sports mingling with entertainment aspect on the new SportsCenter AM show.

What a potential hiring coup this could be!

Earlier today, FOX announced that Charissa will remain with them.

Yes, Charissa is back again to host Fox NFL Kickoff.
The bad news was we did not get to see too many stand-up segments.

Hopefully, next Sunday--I will try my best to hopefully cap Charissa (except during Week 16, where I would have to hopefully find some time shortly after the Christmas holiday).

Considering she is not working during the week, she was kindly asking as a guest on "The Dan Patrick Show" last week that she will be happy to consider most job offers--as long as she mostly stays out West.
