Has anyone heard the news that Lara is cutting back her duties on GMA? She'll only be appearing on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. They had on a new lady this morning. I forget her name right off. But she was quite the looker.

All that I know from reading articles online is that Lara is going to be spending more time with her production company, in addition to planning her wedding.

Also, Amy Robach adds new duties on Friday nights as she will be replacing Elizabeth Vargas on the popular newsmagazine show 20/20, once Vargas finally steps aside in May:

Surprised that she's a (though not the only one I'm sure there's some others like Megyn Kelly though not much of a surprise there).

Why would ABC willingly let a host of a morning show that makes millions cut back her hours to devote more time to a side project?

Because maybe Lara said she'd quit GMA altogether if she couldn't do less hours? Just a guess.

Right but if they really loved her they’d tell her no, we need you here 5 days a week, and pay her more to do so if necessary.
Allowing her to do the side thing while cutting back on her main job tells me they didn’t really love her.

First off I LOVE LARA. So dont this this a trashing post & please read the complete post in context.

Maybe she is a B at work maybe not. We dont know behind the scenes.

Maybe she feels like she is being pushed out therefore the side projects.

She was supposed to be a Co Host & when Strahan came along she got dumped to pop news in the 8am hour only.

That could change your attitude to certain people as well.

I will say when I met her years back she was very nice & personable
( As was Strahan the times I met him).

Also she is a Junker/Flea Marketer. This may sound odd but being a B & a junker usually does not mesh. Being a Junker/Flea Marketer USUALLY means you are not full of yourself & down to earth.

I could see being on a date with her & Picking Garbage & her enjoying it LOL.

Thats why IF she is being a B it may be to people doing her wrong.

Sorry to burst your bubble but she's engage to be married soon (though feel free to dream). It's true she does have shows on HGTV and probably more, so she could said bye-bye to GMA and be alright. Also unsure what is happening behind the scenes completely though see on Wikipedia after Strahan was added, Lara's time decreased. I can see why she been a though not angry enough to leave. Heck, I'll admit I like Lara and like to meet her as well and take a picture with her. Also I took a pic with Britt McHenry and she's been a well -y as well. I will said this if NBC got tired of Megyn Kelly, I would suggest Lara to replace her.
