Another one of the greats who came to the Weather Channel in September 2007 from San Francisco. Once Kelly Cass shifted to become a "contributor" in 2015, Samantha moved across town to WXIA, aka 11Alive in Atlanta.

At least, she leaves like what we all hope it would be--on her own terms

Definitely will miss seeing her. She’s gotten hotter with age.

I think she's looked better in the past year than she did during her Weather Channel years. She looked great then but she's had some amazing outfits recently.

I think she was pushed out, if she was really retiring they would have done a feature on her career & announced when her last show would be instead of how it played out.

If memory serves me correctly, she was part of that huge NBCUniversal cost cutting move in 2020 which also killed Access and laid off several popular news anchors and reporters from Telemundo, namely Maria Celeste.
