Season 3 of
Thursday Night Football begins as a true extravaganza, complete with a jazz band, two face painters where Charissa doesn't mind doing her makeup (although it is odd having her in a men's bathroom, just saying

), and lots of partying and dancing.
Tony Gonzalez enters an elevator with the Philadelphia Eagles mascot and a few scenes later, dunks a football over a moving goalpost. Andrew Whitworth stays cool, while Richard Sherman--ever the gentleman manages to get Charissa in a pure dancing mood (could we see her maybe in a future season of
DWTS perhaps?)
Eventually we see Al Michaels, Kirk Herbstreit, and Kaylee Hartung having the time of their lives as they wait for their food order. Even the famed horse of the Denver Broncos appears towards the end to a nice ovation.
The final shots led into the hour long pregame.

Separately, I did like the opening prior to kickoff. It was an animated version of both teams in showing their respective histories throughout the Super Bowl era. Another instance is where both teams are forever linked, where Dan Marino and Jim Kelly were taken in the famous 1983 NFL Draft. It then leads to today's stars hoping to become future Hall of Famers, or at least be All-Pros so they can take part in the famed obstacle course.
