Wide World of Women

Some of you on this forum may not be familiar with my area, but you may be familiar with anything dealing with Liberty University, including its late founder and pastor, Jerry Falwell. My area is known for it's many mountains, including Candler's Mountain which is near Liberty University's campus. Several years ago, Liberty University decided to place a rather large monogram on the side of Candler's Mountain which is lit up at night. This was seen by many as yet another attempt by the Falwell's and Liberty to assert their somewhat prominence over the city. Officials from Liberty have been known to use their rather large influence over several things, including radio and television in the area. I still remember when ABC13 refused to air Jimmie Kimmel Live, although it still aired his commercials with a caption "Not Seen In This Area" underneath each one.
