Very few topics that Congress agree on every year. But Tuesday saw the House pass by a huge margin the Daylight Saving Time Act. Sponsored by Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna of Florida, she brought it up for debate and many Democrats joined the Republicans in approving the measure.

Why do I bring this up? The time honored topic of should we switch our clocks twice a year is hoping to put a stop to this by considering America should be on permanent daylight time year round.

But the Senate may not even bring it up for a vote, which I believe is going to be a harder sell, with Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas hoping to convince Senate Leader John Thune not to bring it up for a vote.

But the way Amy & T.J. talked about in one of their Wednesday (July 15) podcasts, and why they are split on this issue and many companies in the field of science have another approach on what they would do besides standing pat. Another milestone was reached early on Friday afternoon, as Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes reached 2,000 episodes of their podcast.

It wasn't during their usual weekday editions of "Morning Run".
It wasn't about Brian Austin Green on "I Do, Part 2" listening to voicemails on how women should approach dating.
It was not about two major networks refusing to cover the speech filled with lies from The President I Refuse To Name on Thursday night, and those networks/both linear and cable who decided to cut away after several minutes to do fact checks.
It was also not because of what happened with the Epstein survivors appearing in front of lawmakers at a major hearing in Washington, and the aftermath that followed.

Rather, it was about the longtime teleprompter at the White House (had been employed since 2016) who lost his job after placing bets on prediction market Polymarket over what words and phrases he used in his lie-filled speech. It was all over social media.

As we know in sports and general workplaces, betting is illegal. Amy and T.J. also mentioned how they used teleprompters back in the day, just so they could have their local newscast hit the air (glitches aside), and how difficult and stressful that job really is.

I guess it's safe to say, here's to another 2,000 episodes unless David Ellison convinces them both to become the co-hosts of the still third place morning show CBS Mornings--although nothing has been confirmed about that pending the merger of Paramount which is mired in legal trouble and might take months to be settled.

On Friday afternoon, I noticed when you scroll down on the Apple Podcasts app--the number of episodes remains at 2,000.

Is that the case for some pods?
I know that a longtime pod covering the music industry, "Sound Opinions" has over 1,400 episodes which is displayed as 1K>.
It would take an endless amount of scrolling to count what the exact number of episodes it will be going forward.

I couldn't find any answers on Reddit, let alone via the AI app Google Gemini. I wonder why that is the case.
