DEADZONE supplies some great download. My PC freezes when I try to download the below files from rapidshare. This has happened for a while but I'd like to see the Uma and Julia MPG's. I tried changing the extension and move the file to another drive but no luck... I can play other mpegs with no problem....

Any suggestions?

I don't think it's anything DZ is doing. Rapidshare just slows the download speed to about 65kbs for people without a premium membership. It's slower than it used to be, but unless you get a premium membership, you gotta live with it. What kind of ISP are you on? Dial-up or Cable/DSL?
I have comcast cable and don't have a problem downloading, it just takes a bit.

Is is all of Deadzone's files? Or just those 2? If it's all of his files it could be the particular rapidshare server he uploads to. But it seems your issue is playing the files and not downloading.... those are two different things. Changing file extensions does not change the file. You can change TS to MPG (with my vids) but that still will not change what the file actually is.

I just downloaded and played the first clip perfectly with vlc and media player classic.

I tested the vids, and no problems here. As with any video issue, I would start with trying a different player. Is it freezing your OS so you have to restart or just the player?

What file extension did you change them too?
And have you changed them back?
