Whenever I try to download something from here using a mediafire link it does not work for me. All I get is a semi-loaded page and then it ends up like that. Maybe its an issue with Mozilla and mediafire but does anyone know what my problem might be?

It sounds like you're using FireFox. If so, it's probably a security setting on your browser, like "Noscript". You have to allow mediafire or any of those image hosts to run their javascript-based applications on there, or nothing will upload or download properly.
