Couldn't log in on Firefox. Worked perfectly on Internet Explorer. Any reason why?

I couldn't either. I just use IE.

I'll stay on IE too then now that I know it is not me on my end.

Weird. Make sure you have scripts and cookies enabled.

What error are you getting specifically?

I log in and I get no forum just the main screen to login. Says I am logged as my name appears on the list of users.

I've had that error before. Try logging in through the check your messages link up top. When on that, check the box to keep remember you.

Must be some plugin or something like that -- I'm in from firefox now [3.0.11] and it works fine [and I've never had a problem with FF].

I never have a problem with FF. Maybe try to disable the pop up blocker?

Most times when I have an issue with a page or form not showing up on FF it is because of the pop up blocker.

I have no idea. This just started to not work on Firefox. Basically it is like either I was banned, but I wasn't and like it doesn't accept the cookies which it does. No Blocker is on and nothing looks wrong. But it still works on IE which is a good thing. If I have a virus or malware causing the problems then I guess I will have to run my software to check and kill anything bad. But it sure didn't affect any other site and as I said it still works on IE. My default browser had been FF. But no worries as I switched to IE.

Fixed it. Some problems with cookies it seems. When I deleted the ones I had, erased privacy data and change option to not accept cookies I was able to log into this site with fire fox 3.0.11.

I tried to erase the cookies and then set it to not accept them, I can't log in either. If you are not having problems now (and it was working fine this morning) it might get you too.

I tried to log into another browser (Opera) and because I couldn't log inot Firefox after 5 attempts, I got the can't login for 30 minutes message. I am posting this message from Avant (IE front end which is what IE should be but isn't) which I am already logged in.

The board was down for a bit earlier this afternoon. It wasn't a firefox issue.

Yeah, and I got one of those SQL errors when I tried to access it before. I was able to log in with Opera this afternoon and finally with Firefox now.
