Just got HLN HD today on my Comcast! To bad that the bars are on the side. Would you call this true HD?

No, not really "true HD". The wide angles aren't nearly as clear as real HD would be but the close up shots are very good. 100x better than SD. Real HD is 16x9.

Yeah, it's really more of an upscaled SD. I think Robin would panic once the Atlanta studio went true HD. :lol:

Nonetheless, the quality really brings out the sparkle in her eyes! Image

I believe CNN is working on a new HD set for Newsroom in Atlanta. Hopefully new technology from that set will also transfer over to the HLN set. :please42
