The transformation of Stephanie from cute geek to sexy babe has been amazing. Between the outfits she is wearing, to her demeanor, to her hairstyle. It is amazing that this is the same woman. (I do not see evidence of it, but has she had help surgically?)

I wonder what brought it on the change. Was it the executives at TWC, or possibly at NBC? Or was it something she did herself?

I also have noticed the absence of a wedding ring of late. I wonder if this is for real. If it is real, is that the reason for the transformation? Or has her transformation led her to separate from her husband?

Steph still shows her silly & funny side but the sexiness is overtaking it by leaps & bounds. Witness, thanks to the quick eye of The Chairman for his cap, what I believe to be her 1st actual uppie from yesterday. Definite at the top of the slit on the skirt.

There are/were some caps of her here when she was just starting and did some field reports in a tight t shirt so I would say nothing has been changed physically. Despite some bad moves by TWC or NBC such as turning TWC into Discovery Weather with all the beleping documentary programs, the clothing of the females has been significantly upgraded for the most part.

She was married at some point, wasn't she? I think she may have had a child as well. But there is certainly NO wedding ring on.

Anone know anything (real fact, not fantasy)?

Seems to me from seeing caps on here from several pages back, she was decent two or three years ago, but she really got good once she got paired up with Mike Bettes and then even better in May 09, when it was announced they would move to mornings, till now. Since then only a handful of days has she worn pants.

I remember when she and Bettes were still nights she maybe wear a dress or skirt once a week. Betty Davis hardly wore skirt/dress now she's wearing skirts or a dress more. Maybe NBC increase the clothing budget or something (fashion sytlist)

You make a great point here - they ALL seem to have stepped up their game lately...hope Betty has dumped the black pantsuits for good! I was not a fan of the NBC takeover but aside from the annoying banners things are looking pretty good. Hopefully some of the Today show magic will find its way onto TWC

The Weather Channel as a whole still has its flaws, but as a whole, the ladies wardrobe has improved significantly. Esp. Stephanie and Heather. The f*n banner needs to be done away with except in emergencies in local areas.

I thought Steph was married unless they have split recently I heard her mention a husband before

IMO I don't know that she ever was a geek, and I don't think she has changed. She is still doofy at times and downright obnoxious at others. I must admit that she does look some better of late compared to the past, but she would be far down my list of favorites.
