On right now, then again from 10-11pm and 1-2am (all EDT). Unless the schedule changes over the next couple of days, this will be my last full on-air shift.

Somebody asked if she was getting replaced because TWC was going with younger and sexier people she replied Nicole Mitchell 'Younger, sexier, and in my case, someone who won't cause an "incovenience" to the company by needing time off for military service. (Of course, no reason was given, but that was the only thing the NBC folks ever complained about in reference to my work performance.)"

The rules of the USERRA act are pretty complicated ---

And of course, it all depends on how TWC/NBC is playing it too. If they don't cite it as a reason, they could also use her pursuit if a law degree as a reason. (Some employers use further education in an unrelated field as an excuse; some sort of sign that you plan to "bail out" on them anyway)

But overall, she could easily have a case if they really did express some disapproval of her being away because of it, and even more if she can document it.

As far as the whole "younger, sexier" thing, maybe I'm missing something there. What type of hallucinogens are TWC management on? How is Nicole, or a number of the other ladies not young, or attractive? They're not ready to file for Social Security, for #$@% sake.
What's the goal for them, to have Snooki and JWoww doing forecasts?

Maybe her views on politics, global warming etc were at odds with the message (read that Bullsh*t, pseudo-science) TWC is pushing these days. Military folks are generally more conservative. Just conjecture here, don't know her views.

Eh, probably has nothing to do with it. Maybe this isn't known nationally but the company that will soon own TWC, Comcast, is owned by people who are quite conservative and big backers of the Republican party. Anyway, hmm, I can't wait to see her somewhere. She's always been my favorite on the channel. A very lovely woman. As for a Bond girl, I'm all for that. Too bad the name "Amy Freeze" is already taken. Maybe she could be Nicole Tempest or Nicole Hurricane. She drives men to their death by controlling the weather!

I've got to believe that Nicole will have multiple options right away. Any one of a number of outlets could find a spot for here in seconds.

I knew she was done when they kicked her off her regular spot on weeknights
Heard a rumor that her contract was up and did not offer to renew it. Have no Idea if that is true

I don't think we will see her on air anywhere. She just passed the Bar exam and is still in the Reserves
oh well life goes on
