I want to point out one BIG thing: the people behind the control room have this device that dubbed "the 7-second delay" and we all know how it works with filtering things not proper for am tv and clearly this remark was both off-the-cuff and just a statement in regards to how the president is handling the economic recovery. and as it happened, it wouldnt have been said if the delay wasnt in place to block it out. Unfortunately, it didnt work out that way. It happens and yes its always gonna be end badly, but frankly i blame the control room people for not activating the delay sooner before it happened.
As for Joe and Mika, i can understand why they would laugh because they were in shock and didnt know how else to combat the fact that Mark said what he had said and so it was a way to alleviate the tension that was clearly there on set. And i agree with you Art that it was clearing goating that occurred but they didnt know or even think that it would be said on national televsion. Anyways, there...i said it
