Yes, a very good point. Yes, loved watching her at the board doing the "flicking". Hey, Colbert. Nobody messes with Erin! She rocks! Her fan base is expanding and it's easy to see why. I think part of why her ratings have not been high. Is partly due to the backlash of her time at CNBC and Wall Street. And you can thank OWS for that. The other resion is John King is a weak lead in. If you look at the ratings. You can see he's draging her down.

since she worked for goldmann sachs, she should have been right down the middle on that - she came off like a corporate shill. And John King is just awful and boring; I posted an article a month or so ago that her rerun is doing multiples better than her first run. Why they haven't moved Brooke into that spot to start priming her for primetime just shows what is wrong with CNN (then again, it took Anderson Cooper basically calling Ali Velshi incompetent on air for them to put Brooke on election coverage)

Erin is the only reason I watch any CNN. They'll get no viewership from me if they take her off.

The funniest thing about Erin's ratings is that she's been getting better numbers for the 11pm repeat than for
the live show itself. So that part of the theory on having a weak lead-in from King may be right.

The chain is only as storng as your weakest link. CNN's weakest link is John King. And the ratings back it up. He should have been shown the door with Sptizer. If you can't beat Al Sharpton in the ratings. That should be a wake up call for CNN to can him. I think Erin can bring up CNN with the right lineup aorund her. She's in the same deal with CNN as Trish Regan is with Bloomberg. If handled right Trish will bring Bloomberg up. And I think erin will too.

John King hosting Sunday Political News, Specials and Election coverage; I'd also start grooming Alison to host money news - Ali Velshi is tv kryptonite

CNN in general is in trouble - they have a 4 hour block not performing during early into primetime, their best period of anchors is 2-6pm; morning show isn't going to gain any traction. It's election time, this is their time to shine, and just their caucus/primary coverage is so much better than everyone that it underscores their problems with a handful of people and their stick someone behind a desk with pages and interns behind them is 15 year old strategy

When CNN had there shakeup. They should have stayed with Krain in the morning shift and be the Karin from Fox and friends. I think it will take time and for Erin ride out OWS and get rid of King or move him to sundays and go from there
