So Margaret Brennan is leaving Bloomberg.....Today is her last day there. Wonder who will take her place and what the new lineup will be....

We were absolutely floored when we learned the news yesterday that Bloomberg TV's Margaret Brennan is leaving the news network.

Sadly, tomorrow Brennan will host her last episode of "In Business."

Brennan is smart and talented, so obviously it's a big loss. The anchor, who has a passion for international reporting, has been around the world during her career. Brennan’s departure, described as mutual, comes as the network plans changes to its morning lineup later this Spring.

Andrew Morse, head of U.S. TV for Bloomberg, says the changes are a continuation of Bloomberg’s “evolution into a digital, multi-platform news organization.” The changes have included a round of staff cuts as well as the posting of new positions, last month.

Found this: Hosts Erik Schatzker and Stephanie Ruhle will host a new show at 10 a.m., replacing Brennan's "In Business," the story notes.

Perhaps this is why Margaret has had enough. A passion for international reporting and she's been stuck down in the NYSE for far too long. Would be great if she moved to CNN/CNNI then i would still get to see her.

just read on Mediaite that Margret is going to CBS News. I worte this on the end of bloomberg topic. But from what it looks like. Margret was not fired. she left Bloomberg for better days.

New lineup probably starting next Tuesday:

The programming shifts include a simulcast of Tom Keene‘s radio program “Surveillance” which airs from 6-8amET replacing “Inside Track” which was hosted by Erik Schatzker and Stephanie Ruhle.

“It’s not just doing TV on the radio,” Morse tells TVNewser, “but a true multi-media program.” The show will stream on Bloomberg.com and on the Bloomberg TV+ and Radio+ tablet apps. Keene will be joined by Sara Eisen, Scarlet Fu and Ken Prewitt.

Betty Liu will continue to anchor “In the Loop” from 8-10amET. Then, Schatzker and Ruhle will host a new show at 10am, replacing Brennan’s “In Business.”

Keene’s NoonET program goes away and will be replaced by a what Morse calls a “high-profile ensemble cast” who will be assessing the market at Midday.

I hope no major changes are planned for the shows from the UK. Also hope Steph Ruhle isn't stuck down at the NYSE in the new show.

It is true. I don't look at this thread for a day and everybody posts stuff! I last looked at it before Sundemon posted his article on Margaret. So sad but yes, they under-utilized her and then sent her to the equivalent of the "storage" office. She is great on the road as we just saw the other week. Still, what a loss and I hope CBS uses her wisely. She'll be missed. Thanks for the Poppy, Linzie, Lara, and Louise.

This thing with Margent happened so fast. There still running promos for inside track. Margent can bring in a young demo much like Norha O' Donnell is kind of doing form them.
