I know people on this board could care less about rating and only want to see Erin caps, however caps could be difficult to get if she's not on the air! (Just sayin')

for whatever reason, that spot in particular has been a blackhole. They didn't do any favors by barely having Erin on their election coverage early in the primaries when people watch them. I'd guess we'll see what happens with the actual run-up to the election and what her role is (and conversely, what Brooke's role is as she's the heir apparent to try her hand at that time slot of death).

I hope her ratings do improve. She was on fire last week. Well, she's always good to me. Love it when she wears pink. It suits her. Thanks for all of the caps!

Fuc*! Seriously, we are such a devoted fanbase, and yoda knows I've made it known to everyone and their brother that Erin is the BOMB!! CNN would so suck if they dumped her. It's the fact that Larry is gone that the ratings have dumped ... Piers, whatever you may think of him, is not blowing anyone's skirt up, and Anderson, as good as he is, has the anti-Gay crowd abandoning his action, so the whole primetime slot is, again, fudge**!!

I don't think it's necessarily anti-gay, I think it's how foolish the show is where he pours on the faux gravitas while delivering fluff pieces. The scowl while uncovering something no one cares about is laughable.

Piers is terrible, but it's the same problem with Larry King - if you don't care about the guest you're not going to bother to tune in for an hour; not to mention hour long form interviews are almost always terrible - who has an hour of interesting stories, who is going to actually reveal anything in this day and age of publicists and coaching, etc.

Then you got John King which is like watching paint not dry, but fade.

The morning shows are terrible save for Z's leg show

The worst part of the primetime cycle is that news stops at 3pm pacific and doesn't start again until 6am or so - between that it's just reruns of bad primetime

Maybe they'll just have Erin and Brooke in a hot off and Z can just cross her legs in a split screen

Yeah if any show in primetime deserves to get canned it's Piers. That show is just awful. They should have tired to hire Jon Stewart or even Bill Maher, I don't care for either but no doubt they would get ratings.

Erin hasn't even been on the network for a full year yet. They need to give her more time. But she's just one person CNN can't expect her to turn around the network all by herself.

Wow! Am I so thankful, or grateful, or whatever (??), to have found this forum. Thank you, both, for responding to my (our) reply/concerns ... all valid points ... must admit, I don't know the Z leg thing ... I can't get Erin off the fornicating brain, so, she's the only thighs and manure I look at ... indeed, and it's funny, cos Ted Turner on Piers recently sort of intimated this ... he don't give an F about CNN anymore, either (except for the stockholders) ... our lovely has dumbed down her show so much of late ... fan-faring nearly National Inquirer sorts of Sh** ... it's become exploitative, basically ... and therein, why FOX and MSNBC are kicking their a$$.
