Since last month I've noticed the PQ on QVC HD has way more digital compression.
Slight movement of people causes major digital compression on the video.
The fashion shows are the worst with all the movement.
HSN HD has much less digital compression.

Unless you are tapping their feed directly, I would question your provider.

I've always had that problem on QVCHD with Comcast.

A two hour recording of HSN is 15.26 GB.
A two hour recording of QVC is 11.57 GB.
FiOS does not re compress either channel so QVC has a reduction of bandwidth that his effecting picture quality.

I noticed this week that my QVC HD feed now has full bandwidth and the PQ has greatly improved.
The feed was only getting to 12.3 MB's and now goes to 17.5 MB's.
Not sure if FiOS made changes or QVC changed the feed going to cable providers.

I noticed that you can make out more and more imperfections on the hosts and models...
